"IKIRO" in Saarland - Volklinger, Germany

This Exhibition was held in a part of Volklingr Steel factory, which used to be the biggest steel factory in the world. Now it is one of Unesco in the world. Takahiro traced the history of this factory.He used the red soil from Luxemburg and coal form Volklingr to make "IKIRO" on the graund.This materiel was exact same material that people used in the factory to produce steel.
Takahiro stayed there for 10 days to make the installation. After Takahiro left the space, people could stepped on the installation so that 2 colors of "IKIRO" would be mixed together little by little. This process stood for the braking the border of the country. Volklingr use to be part of France and Germany in the history.
