"Sowing man of IKIRO" in Auvers-Sur-Oise, France Vincent Van Gogh has been inspiring Suzuki in a spiritual way. For three month Van Gogh lived in Auvers-sur-Oise, a small village north of Paris. He moved here in 1890 after spending a year at the asylum in Saint-R?my. Suzuki performed at the field where Van Gogh made the last painting: Like Van Gogh's sowing man, Suzuki throw the IKIRO paper at the sky, little by little, letting the papers find fertile grounds to grow. This performance was filmed. More about the relationship between Van Gogh and Suzuki, see also:
